Megha Joshi (b. 1973) Megha has always been interested in the intersection of gender, religion and rituals.  She studied Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, MSU, Baroda.  She spent 10 years as a Set Designer and Art Director for film and television, with over seventy projects to her credit, before returning to full time art practice in 2008. She has since participated in over 50 international shows, residencies in India and in Iceland and various India Art Fair editions (2009/11/12), including the 2016 one.  Joshi emphasizes that her work is an exercise to critique the lack of reform in religions. She knows she doesn’t have the answers, but at least, she is raising strong questions.  Megha’s practice spans Sculpture and Installation art and she works with a vast array of media.
