Bhartti Verma (b. 1987) is a Delhi based artist, and received her MFA (2012) and her BFA (2010) from the Delhi College of Art, each with gold medal distinction.  Her signature is her control over scale, proportions and spatial dimensioning. Bhartti lives and works in a small apartment crammed in a narrow street that cannot contain the two wheelers, surge of humanity and office bound cars all competing and jostling for space. Her paintings are a withdrawal, a call for inner sanctity. She has exhibited in over 16 shows and received 8 artistic awards and her work is in collections globally.
