Anita’s story.  My father had a laundry business. I grew up seeing rows and rows of clothes hanging on a line after they had been washed.  To my child’s eye. I imagined the clothes to be rows of people, souls cleansed of caste and creed boundaries, swaying in the wind in a spirit of unity.
