Erina’s story. This is my favourite painting.  I imagined women’s strength and collective bargaining when we come together.  I used red to symbolize power, the tree as a symbol of life, and the third eye to signify women’s shakti or strength.  It was selected for a curated show of women artists to honour International Women’s Day in Nepal, 2014.
