Pramila’s story.  I was captivated by a trip to Sri Lanka and wished to narrate my experiences and senses in my art.  I had a solo show in 2008 - `Passing Through…’ and this piece was in the collection.  This woman, like my Nepali rural women is going about her seemingly everyday activities and chores. But there is a restlessness in her. That’s what I seek to capture – what goes on below the surface.
