Ragini’s story.  This painting is part of the Lakshmi series - a tribute to Lakshmi, the favourite of the Hindu goddesses.  She brings spiritual and physical wealth, knowledge and luck. She offers the golden steps to all desires, yet Ragini’s signature snake – a metaphor for temptation – is always lurking nearby.
