Bipasha Hayat (b. 1971) lives and works in Dhaka, She is an artist, playwright and award-winning actress (National, UNESCO), but she says that painting is her first real love. She has an MFA in painting from the Institute of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, and has held five solo exhibitions between 2011 and 2016 – the most recent one at the 2016 Dhaka Art Summit.  The quiet silence of colors fascinates her. She leaves it to the viewer to unravel the mystery of black.
